Kabarnet University Holds Memorable Oath-Taking Ceremony


Kabarnet University today hosted a remarkable and dignified oath-taking ceremony at the Principal’s Office Boardroom, marking an important milestone in the institution’s governance and administrative culture. The event symbolized a renewed commitment to integrity, accountability, and service delivery among key administrative units within the University College. The ceremony brought together senior leadership and staff in a solemn moment of professional affirmation.

The oath-taking was officiated by the Moi University Legal team, led by Madam Dorcas Jerotich Mengich, who guided the process with professionalism and clarity. In her remarks, she emphasized the significance of ethical conduct and adherence to institutional policies, stating that such ceremonies are essential in strengthening public trust and institutional credibility.

Present at the occasion was the Acting Principal, Prof. Daniel Chebutuk Rotich, who commended the team for embracing the spirit of responsibility and institutional excellence. He was joined by Deputy Principals, Prof. Cheboi and Prof. Malakwen, who each underscored the role of leadership in shaping a strong and transparent administrative environment. Their presence highlighted the importance of teamwork and shared commitment at the senior management level.

Also in attendance were Deputy Registrars Dr. Chelanga and Dr. Yegon, alongside senior members of staff. The departments taking the oath included all administrative offices attached to the Principal as well as the Examinations Department. This collective pledge reaffirmed the University’s dedication to upholding academic standards, administrative efficiency, and ethical stewardship.
